Most can agree when a sad book is sad or a scary book is scary. A funny book? Well, that’s a whole other story. Humor is subjective, and one person’s funny is another person’s uncomfortable. Finding humor and then maintaining that tone and situation to elicit a chuckle from just about anyone—that, my friends, is a rare talent. Our presenters, however, have perfected the juggling act of keeping their wit sophisticated enough for discerning readers, yet plausible enough to be relatable.
