oin Deborah Marcero for a hands-on ink and watercolor workshop where she'll walk participants through her illustration process for her newest picture book, The Great Escape—from sketch to ink to watercolor; from integrating James Webb Space Telescope images to layering in Photoshop. Begin with a short presentation on inspiration and process, then create your own sketch, ink, and watercolor samples as Deborah models and instructs alongside!

Watercolors, brushes, pencils, ink pens, and sketch and tracing paper will be provided, though participants are encouraged to bring their own kit of favorite supplies as well! Advanced registration required. Open to attendees age 16 and older.
